Dr. James Godwin
 
Dr. James C. Godwin attended the Illinois College of Optometry where he was a member of the Gamma Omega Phi fraternity. He graduated in 1975, receiving a degree of doctor of optometry. To date Dr. Godwin has been practicing optometry for 34 years.

He is presently the primary doctor at Fox Eye Care Group in the Fourseasons Mall location in Greensboro, North Carolina. Dr. Godwin has been at this location for the past 19 years and enjoys treating his many loyal patients who return year after year.

Dr. Godwin specializes in family eye care and the fitting of contact lens.

Throughout his longstanding career, Dr. James Godwin has received many accolades to acknowledge his services, including the Lenscrafters "Most Inspirational Person" award in 1993, as well as a Gift of Sight award in that same year.

Dr. Godwin has been married for 27 years and has 3 grown children. In his spare time, Dr. Godwin enjoys reading, gemology, and spending time with his family.
